Surface Set Diamond Core Bit
The Surface Set Diamond Core Bit is a diamond coring tool designed for geological exploration, mineral prospecting, geotechnical investigation and rock core sampling.
Unlike an impregnated diamond bit, in which diamond particles are distributed throughout the crown matrix, a surface set core bit uses selected natural or synthetic diamonds positioned directly on the cutting surface. The exposed diamonds provide effective cutting action and reliable penetration, especially in softer and consolidated rock formations.
